Fort Lauderdale is made up of different communities and neighborhoods, each with its own characteristics, personality, and price points. We have our own arts district, our own historic district, and a variety of local attractions and recreational draws that keep residents here happy year round.

Neighborhoods near the beach offer access to the area’s biggest attraction, Fort Lauderdale Beach. Oceanside neighborhoods, east of the intracoastal offer the benefits of easy beach access. Condominiums dominate the landscape in this area.

Fort Lauderdale's inventory of real estate east of the intracoastal is very limited and therefore much more expensive than the average area home for sale. The communities out west, such as Weston and Cooper City promote A rated schools, making them very appealing to buyers with families. In east Ft. Lauderdale, homes for sale are usually older, and the further west you travel the easier it is to find newer construction.

Fort Lauderdale is called the "Venice of America"; all the waterways off the intracoastal and the New River make for a great assortment of waterfront properties.
